Carbon accounting
Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE (MSIT) is delivering a short course in Carbon Accounting that has been created and developed by Swinburne University of Technology, National Centre for Sustainability.
This short course in Carbon Accounting will help you get your business 'carbon ready'. Unique in Australia, it is accredited by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Quantify and report - organisational greenhouse gas emissions, conduct audits and take into account the cost of carbon in investment decisions and business planning.
Workshop program
Develop a Carbon Inventory for the workplace

Participants apply accepted methodologies for accounting of carbon emissions and produce an inventory for an organisation.
Develop and create a carbon report for the workplace.

Participants review and contextualise a greenhouse gas emissions inventory and apply standard approaches for reporting on the inventory.
Delivery
Can be delivered in either online or face to face.
Entry requirements
No formal entry requirements.
A basic understanding of MS Excel spreadsheets is an advantage.
