Dual qualifications

Imagine the career possibilities available to you with not one, but two qualifications!

MSIT offers dual qualifications with Griffith University. These agreements mean you are able to attain direct articulation into selected degree programs saving you time, money and hassle.

Adult Tertiary Preparation (ATP) program

The Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation (ATP) gives you the skills and knowledge necessary to study at a tertiary level.

This program is delivered in a friendly and supportive environment and is ideal for adults wanting to return to study, particularly if some time has elapsed since you last studied.

Upon completion of the program you will gain a 'Senior equivalent' certificate, and a Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER) that gives you access to university courses and can help secure employment.

We understand that work, family or other personal commitments may prevent you from studying full time which is why we deliver the program over a flexible timetable with day and night classes.

If you want to study for your own personal interest, rather than a formal qualification, you can also choose one or more subjects for your enjoyment and personal development alone.

What you will learn

The ATP program allows you to undertake a wide range of subjects based on prerequisites for university courses or for general interest.

The wide range of subjects on offer in this unique program include:

You will also learn time management, study and research skills, assignment writing skills, exam strategies and seminar preparation.

Upon successful completion of Language and learning skills (core module) and any other four subjects, you will gain a Senior equivalent certificate and a QTAC ranking. Some universities will accept a lesser number of subjects for entry.

For more information please refer to the ATP fact sheet.
