To study in Australia you will be required to obtain a student visa. More information can be found on Australia's Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) website.

How to apply for a course at Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE:

  1. Submit your application to the International unit, together with academic transcript (in English), passport copy, and English test result/score. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign the documents. If you meet all the entry requirements, the International unit will issue an offer of place.
  2. You need to sign all the relevant pages on the offer and return them to the International unit. Students under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the documents.
  3. Tuition fee and overseas student health cover needs to be finalised before your offer has expired. Please read your offer carefully.
  4. If you paid your tuition fee by telegraphic transfer, please send your receipt as proof of your payment, so your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) can be issued. You will need this document to apply for your student visa.
