If you're still at school then Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE's specially designed programs give school students the vocational skills to gain employment or continue life long learning.
Our programs give students unlimited options to enhance their futures by:

School-based apprenticeships and traineeships
Gain a qualification while you finish high school. Achieve credit points towards your Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Increase your job opportunities when you complete a part-time apprenticeship or traineeship through Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE. Complete Year 11 and 12 at MSIT
Completing Year 11 and 12 at Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE allows you to study in a flexible, mature learning environment while gaining an OP. Our Senior Studies program is a proven and valid alternative to secondary school studies that provides individually designed full-time program that meets the needs, abilities and future goals of students.
We also provide options for students to study at Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE while they finish high school.
School visits
School visits to your school can be arranged. A representative from Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE can talk at parade, assembly, in class groups or individual career consultations about a particular industry/course area or about courses and benefits of becoming a Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE student.
